I've just realised the advantage of just performing below average.

Like, let's say that you've always been a "below averager" and one day you decided to go all out and upgrade yourself, people you know will be throwing praises at you from left to right. But if you have always been good at what you do, then people will think it's the norm.

Meaning you have to upgrade yourself once again to reach the pro status and that just sounds like too much hard work. Therefore, it's just easier to be a "below averager" and do something smart once or twice a week.

Beside what's the point of aiming that high when you can just live as comfortably when you lesser resources? I just told my mum last night that I'm not going to drive myself nuts by trying to earn gazillions amount of monies and she cheered. Yep, you've read it right. She cheered.

I am hopelessly in love with him.

Taken from Today (132/10/2007) newspaper:

Do sexy outfits inflict 'emotional abuse' on men?

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia's Muslim men are suffering sleepless nights because their thoughts are distracted by a growing number of women who wear sexy clothes in public, a prominent cleric said.

Mr Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, the spiritual leader of the opposition Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, said he wanted to speak about the "emotional abuse" men face as it is seldom discussed, the party said yesterday.

"We always (hear about) the abuse of children and wives in households, which is easily perceived by the eye, but the emotional abuse of men cannot be seen," he said. "Our prayers become unfocussed and our sleep is often disturbed."

Mr Nik Abdul Aziz has made controversial comments about women in the past, such as women should stop wearing lipstick and perfume to lower the risk of being raped.

Women's groups have slammed his statements, saying Islam teaches both men and women to be repsonsible for modesty. They added comments like these encourage rapes because it puts the onus on women.

Mr Nik Abdul Aziz's fundamentalist party has about 800,000 members. He is the Chief Minister of North-eastern Kelantan, the honly Malaysian state not ruled by the moderate Barisan Nasional governing coalition.

Meanwhile, an illustration of how women should dress - in long, flowing headscarves covering their hair and chests and "baggy and loose" long sleeved, floor-length dresses - was published on the party website.

In Kelantan, the party has fined Muslim women for not wearing headscarves in workplaces and implemented separate check-out lines for men and women in supermarkets. - AP

This article is ridiculous that I don't even know where to begin. Actually, it's just not worth my brain cells to break down and analyze every word in this article. Just thought I will share it with anyone out there so we can all point and laugh at the stupidity.
The person who designed the racing game in EA Playground DS should be slapped silly with banana peels. It is the most frustrating and swear words inducing game ever.

08/10/07

Parent came back from Hong Kong. I want Mum's Estee Lauder's Hydra Mask.

First day of becoming a vegetarian. The smell of meat is killing me, so is hunger.

09/10/07

Thinking of giving up. But for the sake of better skin decided to keep it up. Didn't helped that my Dad cooked chicken wings for dinner.

I miss him. Not him him. Another him this time. This him is the proud and asshole-ic one. Having doubts whether Ken and I are really meant for each other.

Swapped Strip Xed-Out with Body Shop Foundation and Blusher with Shireen. Bought a Body Shop Foundation Brush.

Feeling all nostalagic and angsty. Stupid teenage hormones.

Meh, I have no motivation whatsoever.

I really wish that it was him, instead of you.

The things that happened in my life these past few weeks::

  • Started using make up and now I know the reason why some women cannot go out without wearing it. Yes, it's addictive but it's bad for long term.
  • Bought lots of make up because (read above).
  • (Read above) Resulting in depleting monetary resources.
  • Got a reply from the previous owner. She claimed that she has the right to keep the deposit and throw us out because we were subletting the flat and Ken is a illegal immigrant. Go figure.
  • Had OB and FM exams. A girl was caught cheating during the exams. Very stupid of her to do that. When asked if she studied the night before she said she did. Then why the need to cheat?
  • Went out to steamboat and BBQ twice, and TCC (Sonya's treat) with friends and Ken.
  • Sleeping irregularly.
  • Hamster went blind, then eyesight came back, then went blind again and now she can see again but she is losing her fur so she's a half bald hamster now.
  • Ken has decided he will go back to Miri to study with me. I love that man.
  • But we have yet to found a way to tell his parent. Any suggestion that will result us to be still alive in the end?
  • Found out what real hunger is. Why no 24 hours delivery apart from McD? Getting so sick of it.
  • Getting very annoyed with the new landlord and his mum. Every day I can expect heavy thudding noise from above. Hey, someone is living below you! Show some respect! The landlord's mum told us we can't on the air con below 22 degrees because the air con compressor will leak, then the 6th floor Indian lady will complain the HDB. She asked us to cooperate with her, well why don't you cooperate with US and give us a dicount on our rent?
  • Counting down to the days that parent is coming. Seriously can't deal with the landlord and his mother anymore.
  • Been eating a lot of junk food (something I rarely do) and eating more than usual but still not gaining any weight while Ken has been gaining a lot. (No, honey, a potbelly is not sexy)
  • Had the best chicken teriyaki delivered to my house. But the salmon tasted dodgy.
  • Richel asked Ken and I to go to her house for dinner and wine. I told her Ken only likes vodka and chivas. That girl is damn nice to me. Actually everyone in my current class is damn nice to me.
  • Not happy that next term the Intake 2 students will be joining us because they are mean and extremely disruptive. I also got the nickname "sleeping beauty" from them * because I am always sleeping in class. What's it to you? I still managed to get first in one subject.
  • Missed Huei Yin and Grace! My darling best friends. *Blow air kisses to NZ* I love you guys!
  • Seemed to caught an online shopping virus. So far only bought two dresses and a thing called epistick? Haven't received it yet.
  • Bargaining with my mum about the perks I can have if I go back to Miri to study. These have been given the green lights:
-Same amount of pocket money (about rm1840 per month)
-Take me to a destination I want to go for every holidays
-Facial once per month, manicure and hairstyling once every two-three months
-A new car (myvi by Perodua, nothing fancy)
-Piano, pilates, Japanese, dancing, driving lessons
-A new house (they're finally going to build their dream house in their plot of land)
-The chance to go to Perth for my final year with Ken
-Good food including bird's nest soup. Yes, I'm cruel in that way.
    -Permanent Hair Removal.
  • My dad said I don't have to study if I don't want to as long as I go back to Miri where no one can bully me. My mum begged to differ, she said I have to get a degree. Well, I'm doing a double major when I go back.
  • Spend Lunar Moon Festival at Grandma's place. Food so nice. Michael went back to Miri permanently, hopes he can find a well paying job there.
  • (Read above) I've become very superficial and air head(ed).
  • Decided to start taking my flax seeds oil, bilberry and pearl pills again. Damn, my health and eyesight is deterioating. Living in Singapore is bad for the heart. Don't come!
  • Played Harvest Moon:Rune Factory, Animal Crossing:Wild World, My Sims, Aquarium and One Piece on my NDS. The PSP has been forgotten by me. I asked Ken to buy me another NDS because I need a friend to visit my shop for it to be upgraded and I don't know how to use the wireless in NDS even thought I have other people's friend code. He said he will when he goes back to GZ. But this time he will not buy the pink one.
  • I want a Wii. The Wii MySims looks so fun.
  • Going to visit Ken in GZ after final term for good food and hair extensions again (maybe) and clothes in wholesale prices. Grr, Mum won't let me go to Taiwan even though they promised me they'll let me go at the start of the year.
  • Before going to GZ, will go to Bali. But very angsty about that idea because of terrorist attack and bird flu. I'm very paranoid.
  • Suffered through the worst depression for a month. Everyone is so nice, especially Huei, Family, Ken and Samantha. Family said money doesn't matter as long as you're happy, we are willing to spend as much as possible for you to be happy. So touched. But this put pressure on me to study hard and earn lots of money for them in the near future.

I think that's all... *cringes* I sound very expensive.

I vow that::

- I will fight till the end until I get the justice and the apologies we all deserve.

- I will have my first million by the time I hit the twenty five mark.

- And 15 years later, I will have at least 100 million.

- To be filial towards my parent because I love them so much.

- To always smile in front of my enemies.

- To try and get number one in all my subjects.
